Spring Break

For Spring Break the kids went to visit Grammy and Papa in College Station. They had tons of fun and even had a play date with some friends. My mom made an attempt to get some pictures of them in the bluebonnets, but Hayden has become very afraid of bees which made it difficult to get him to sit still after he saw one! Our last bit of excitement was last week we had a hail storm in Austin. Luckily the kids were with Nathan in a parking garage, but I was stuck on a major highway. The sad part is that my new car (less than 4k miles) has quite a lot of damage. The windshield was cracked and lots of body work needs to be done :(

March 7 & 8 Weekend

Saturday we took the kids to down town Austin for the Texas Independance Parade. I think for the most part they enjoyed it... atleast the candy throwing.

On Sunday, Hayden decided he needed to practice his casting to get ready for fishing.

Annual Camping Trip

This past weekend we got together with friends to enjoy a weekend away camping at the ranch. Hayden was so excited to go to the ranch and run and play and get dirty with friends. We did have some interesting happenings while we were there. After we got the kids to bed Nathan noticed a glow in the sky...a fire and it seemed very close! A few of the guys drove to see if it was on the property. They drove to the front gate to see it was on the property and that the fire department was already there putting the fire out. We were so glad that they quickly were able to do this because it had been very windy!
